Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: email address, name if provided, organization or workspace details, plan, subscription status, login events, password hash, magic-link records, Google OAuth identifiers where enabled, and session cookies.
• Quote and calculator information: pressure washing job inputs, pricing assumptions, quote outputs, customer name, customer email, customer phone, service address, scope, status, viewed or accepted timestamps, and public quote token data.
• Widget and lead information: customer contact details, service address, estimate inputs, estimate range, source page, widget token, allowed origin, and lead submission details.
• Payment and purchase information: PayPal order IDs, subscription IDs, capture status, product purchased, amount, currency, payer email when returned by PayPal, download tokens, download counts, and webhook event records. Full payment card details are handled by PayPal and are not stored by JobQuoteLab.
• Usage and device information: anonymous IDs, session IDs, page path, event names, limited event properties, IP hash, user agent, security logs, and basic diagnostics used for analytics, fraud prevention, and reliability.
• Support information: messages, account email, receipt references, and other details you choose to send when asking for help.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate the calculator, create and save quotes, display public quote pages, provide template downloads, process PayPal purchases and subscriptions, authenticate accounts, send service emails, support customers, prevent abuse, protect security, debug errors, improve product workflows, measure conversion events, comply with legal obligations, and enforce the Terms of Service.

3. Public quote links and customer data

Public quote links are unlisted customer-facing pages that may show quote scope, line items, package options, exclusions, terms, expiration notes, service address, customer name, and total price. They are intended for sharing by the contractor who created the quote. Public quote pages are marked noindex where applicable, but anyone with the link may be able to view the customer-facing quote details.

4. Cookies and local storage

JobQuoteLab uses cookies and browser storage for sessions, login state, OAuth or magic-link flows, anonymous analytics identifiers, calculator or quote workflow continuity, security, and fraud prevention. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may prevent account login, saved quotes, downloads, checkout returns, or widget workflows from working correctly.

5. How we share information

• Service providers: hosting, database, storage, security, analytics, email delivery, human verification, authentication, and infrastructure providers may process information for us.
• Payment providers: PayPal processes purchases, subscriptions, payment approvals, captures, disputes, and payment method details under its own policies.
• Customer recipients: when you send or share a public quote link, the recipient can view the customer-facing quote information on that page.
• Legal and safety: we may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, to prevent fraud, to respond to legal requests, or to enforce the Terms of Service.
• Business transfers: information may be transferred if JobQuoteLab is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate continuity of privacy obligations.

We do not sell personal information as a data broker.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts, support billing and downloads, comply with legal or tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, preserve security logs, and operate analytics. Session cookies are generally set for up to 30 days. Magic-link and OAuth state records are short-lived. Download tokens expire according to the purchase workflow. Quotes, leads, orders, subscriptions, and support records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period after account closure where needed for business, legal, security, or compliance reasons.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including HTTPS, secure cookies, noindex handling for unlisted quote pages, rate limits, human verification for widgets, hashed session tokens, hashed passwords, restricted payment data handling, and provider-level infrastructure protections. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent for certain personal information. You may also request help closing an account, deleting stored quote or lead data, or correcting account information. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required for payments, fraud prevention, tax, legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

9. International users

JobQuoteLab is an online service and may process information through providers located in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred, stored, and processed outside your state, province, or country, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

10. Children

JobQuoteLab is intended for business use by contractors and is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are under the age required to enter into a binding contract in your location.

11. Changes and contact
